Le manque d\u2019harmonisation des prix engendre une concurrence susceptible de nuire aux acteurs du secteur. Certains transporteurs r\u00e9duisent leurs prix afin de remporter des contrats de transport. La F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Nationale des Transporteurs du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et le Conseil Malien des Transporteurs Routiers (CMTR), r\u00e9unis le jeudi 16 novembre 2023 \u00e0 Bamako, ont convenu de la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de cr\u00e9er un Bureau de fret.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019installation d\u2019un tel Bureau pr\u00e9sente l\u2019avantage d\u2019harmoniser les tarifs du transport de marchandises, ce qui contribuerait \u00e0 assainir le secteur. Ce besoin est partag\u00e9 aussi bien par les transporteurs s\u00e9n\u00e9galais que maliens. Sur le corridor Dakar-Bamako, la lib\u00e9ralisation des prix, entra\u00eenant une baisse de ces derniers, constitue une menace pour la viabilit\u00e9 du secteur du transport. C\u2019est l\u2019opinion de Youssouf Traor\u00e9, pr\u00e9sident sortant du Conseil Malien des Transporteurs Routiers (CMTR). \u00ab Certains transporteurs acceptent des prix assez bas pour remporter des contrats de transport sur le corridor. Par exemple, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 un tarif de 2 millions de francs CFA est appliqu\u00e9, ils acceptent facilement 1.600.000 FCFA \u00bb, explique-t-il. \u00ab Ces pratiques sont pr\u00e9judiciables au secteur \u00bb, ajoute-t-il lors de la r\u00e9union tenue au si\u00e8ge du CMTR. M. Traor\u00e9 pr\u00e9conise ainsi l\u2019\u00e9tablissement d\u2019un tarif unique sur le corridor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installation d\u2019un Bureau de fret<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selon Mbargou Badiane, pr\u00e9sident de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Nationale des Transporteurs du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal (FNTS), seule l\u2019installation d\u2019un Bureau de fret pourrait r\u00e9soudre d\u00e9finitivement ce probl\u00e8me. Cette structure agirait comme l\u2019interlocuteur unique des chargeurs, et les prestations se feraient sur la base de tarifs harmonis\u00e9s.<br \/>\nCette proposition a re\u00e7u un soutien unanime du c\u00f4t\u00e9 des transporteurs maliens pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 la r\u00e9union.<br \/>\n\u00c0 l\u2019issue des \u00e9changes, les deux parties ont convenu de la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019entreprendre les d\u00e9marches n\u00e9cessaires de part et d\u2019autre pour concr\u00e9tiser cette ambition.
