Un s\u00e9same qui vient r\u00e9compenser les efforts de l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire l\u2019impact environnemental de ses activit\u00e9s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dakar Terminal, op\u00e9rateur du terminal roulier El Hadji Malick Sy, a obtenu le label Green Terminal suite \u00e0 l\u2019audit men\u00e9 le 23 d\u00e9cembre 2021 par Bureau Veritas. Dakar Terminal est ainsi la cinqui\u00e8me concession portuaire \u00e0 obtenir ce label \u00ab&nbsp;<em>en reconnaissance de ses engagements et des mesures prises pour att\u00e9nuer l\u2019impact de ses activit\u00e9s sur l\u2019environnement&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb, se f\u00e9licite la maison m\u00e8re, Bollor\u00e9 Ports.<\/p>\n<p>Les experts de Bureau Veritas ont conduit leur audit sur la base des huit piliers du processus de labellisation. Qui inclut notamment les processus de travail, la construction d\u2019infrastructures conformes aux standards internationaux, l\u2019acquisition d\u2019\u00e9quipements de manutention plus respectueux de l\u2019environnement ou encore la gestion des d\u00e9chets et la formation des collaborateurs aux bonnes pratiques li\u00e9es aux enjeux environnementaux.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es, Dakar Terminal travaille au quotidien sur plusieurs axes d\u2019am\u00e9lioration de sa performance environnementale en particulier l\u2019optimisation de sa consommation de carburant des engins de manutention&nbsp;; celle-ci a diminu\u00e9 de 26 % depuis 2019. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 travaille \u00e9galement \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction de la congestion urbaine, rendue possible par la d\u00e9mat\u00e9rialisation des documents de transport ainsi que le transfert des v\u00e9hicules import\u00e9s vers le port sec de Diamniadio, au sud de Dakar.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019op\u00e9rateur s\u2019est \u00e9galement entour\u00e9 de prestataires qualifi\u00e9s pour collecter, valoriser et recycler les d\u00e9chets produits au sein du terminal. Gr\u00e2ce aux diff\u00e9rentes initiatives engag\u00e9es, la part de valorisation de d\u00e9chets, qu\u2019ils soient class\u00e9s ou non comme \u00ab&nbsp;<em>dangereux<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb, est ainsi pass\u00e9e de 4 % en 2019 \u00e0 64 % en 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab <em>L\u2019obtention du label Green Terminal vient souligner les efforts effectu\u00e9s \u00e0 plusieurs niveaux par nos \u00e9quipes, notamment en ce qui concerne la gestion des d\u00e9chets, la d\u00e9mat\u00e9rialisation des documents ainsi que les actions de sensibilisation aupr\u00e8s de nos collaborateurs et sous-traitants&nbsp;\u00bb, <\/em>commente J\u00e9r\u00f4me Bes\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p>Pour le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Dakar Terminal, le challenge de 2022 \u00ab&nbsp;<em>sera de r\u00e9duire davantage l\u2019empreinte environnementale sur la base des r\u00e9sultats actuel, et d\u2019atteindre un niveau de performance encore plus \u00e9lev\u00e9. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Le label Green Terminal a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 par Bollor\u00e9 Ports en juin 2021. Il a pour objectif de contribuer \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction de l\u2019empreinte carbone de ses activit\u00e9s en s\u2019appuyant sur une m\u00e9thodologie valid\u00e9e par Bureau Veritas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un acteur global<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dakar Terminal S\u00e9n\u00e9gal est l\u2019op\u00e9rateur du terminal roulier El Hadji Malick Sy au M\u00f4le 2 du Port de Dakar. L\u2019entreprise assure l\u2019exploitation des op\u00e9rations logistiques des navires RoRo (navire roulier), ConRo (porte-conteneurs-rouliers) et Car-Carriers dans le port de Dakar.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le respect des r\u00e8glements d\u2019exploitation du Port autonome de Dakar, entre autres normes, Dakar Terminal r\u00e9alise les prestations de r\u00e9ception et de livraison de mat\u00e9riels roulants, conteneurs et marchandises conventionnelles \u00e0 l\u2019importation, en transbordement et \u00e0 l\u2019exportation.<\/p>\n<p>En mars 2021, Dakar Terminal avait obtenu la certification ISO 9001 version 2015. Cette certification atteste de la conformit\u00e9 des services de Dakar Terminal aux exigences de ses clients, en mati\u00e8re de chargement, d\u00e9chargement de navires rouliers, entreposage et stockage de marchandises. Dakar Terminal compte 168 employ\u00e9s s\u00e9n\u00e9galais.<\/p>\n<p>Rappelons que Bollor\u00e9 Ports est un acteur global de l\u2019activit\u00e9 portuaire op\u00e9rant 21 concessions dans le monde dont 16 sur le continent africain.
